Re: Notícias do cinema
New York, N.Y., September 18, 2012 – Screenvision, a national leader in cinema advertising sales, services and content distribution, has teamed up with Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films to bring John Carpenter’s immortal 1978 classic, “HALLOWEEN,” back to the big screen. This nationwide release, beginning October 25th with select showings through October 31st, will be the widest distribution the film has seen since originally shocking audiences in 1978. This cinema scare classic will be presented in a striking, new HD transfer and 5.1 audio.
Screenvision’s presentation of “Halloween” will also include an exclusive documentary short from Justin Beahm entitled “YOU CAN’T KILL THE BOOGEYMAN: 35 YEARS OF HALLOWEEN.” The documentary focuses on the undeniable impact the film, and central figure Michael Myers, have had on culture and the genre.
In the film, the villain, Michael Myers, has spent the last 15 years locked away inside a sanitarium under the care of child psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis. On October 30, 1978, Myers escapes and makes his way back home to Haddonfield, turning a night of tricks and treats into something much more sinister for three young women, including Laurie Strode, the star-making role for Jamie Lee Curtis. Dr. Loomis is their only hope, but will he find his shadow-dwelling patient in time?
“We are thrilled to bring John Carpenter’s original HALLOWEEN back to the screen after almost 35 years,” says series producer Malek Akkad. “We are excited for fans from coast to coast to finally get the ultimate theatrical experience.”
Darryl Schaffer, EVP of Exhibitor Relations, Screenvision said: “We’re excited to bring the movie that helped define the horror genre back to the big screen for this timely exhibition.”

NOTE: this list is growing every day, so please check in often for new cities and theaters.

Re: Notícias do cinema
Arnold Will Be CONAN Once Again
Sorry, Jason Momoa, you're one and done. Which - given the reasons why - is absolutely fantastic news for any fans of Conan The Barbarian out there, regardless of whether you enjoyed the 2011 version or not.
And here it is: Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to the role that launched him to stardom.
Universal have announced that they are moving forward with The Legend Of Conan, a film that will ignore Conan The Destroyer and the 2011 Conan The Barbarian entirely and pick up the story as a direct sequel to John Milius' 1982 Conan The Barbarian. And Arnold is coming back to take up his crown and sword and play the part of Conan once again.
Producer Fredrik Malmberg says:
The original ended with Arnold on the throne as a seasoned warrior and this is the take of the film we will make. It's that mythic guy who has played the role of king, warrior, soldier and mercenary, and who has bedded more women than anyone, nearing the last cycle of his life. He knows he'll be going to Valhalla, and wants to go out with a good battle.
Writer-producer Chris Morgan advises we should think of this "as Conan's Unforgiven," and that sounds pretty damn good to me.

Re: Notícias do cinema
Adorei o trailer.

Re: Notícias do cinema
. vamos ver...

Re: Notícias do cinema
The Thing do Carpenter, Omega Man...

ON HARM'S WAY - IRON SKY TEAM HEADING TO HOLLYWOOD!
We started out with a small Finnish Star Trek -parody. We followed it up with a big Finnish-German-Australian scifi Nazi comedy. And now it's time to see how films are made in the Hollywood. Yes – that's where we are headed, and we'd love to invite you alongside the journey!
But before going further, let me quickly tell you about a new friend of mine, Jeremiah Harm.
Jeremiah – you can call him Jerry, but he'll probably rip your limbs off if you do – is a nasty guy with a bad attitude and a lever-action rifle to back that up. He's a human, but never really went to Earth. Born and raised in several intergalactic orphanaries with a bunch of aliens from all corners of the galaxy, he begun a career as a bounty hunter early, scoring his first kill before the age of 15. After that, the bodycount has been steadily rising, and by mid-30's, he has basically hunted down every imaginable race in the galaxy – but not his own kind. See, he's the only human around as far as he knows, until he is assigned to Earth, a planet claimed to be lost thousands of years ago. And of course he finds himself from New York, chasing a bunch of alien criminals and a girl they kidnapped from the Most Important Man In the Universe.
